Maria, you have a way with words, so poetic and lovely, as lovely as your art. Thank you for the kind words. I have fond memories of trudging out in a snowstorm to help gather wood when I was a child. It was a big adventure.

Elegant, graceful capture. Love the frosted, lacey effect. This is so soft.. so perfect in a winter home where the beauty of life is essential... this take the realistic cold of winter and reduces it to the warm memories we have of a time when all the beauty of life was in a simple snowflake. F/L

I could wander for hours gathering wildflowers, meandering along streams and gathering currants for pie or jelly. When I became tired I would sit under or climb up into a big shade tree and let my mind wander and dream big dreams. I moved to Kansas City to join my aunt after high school. You know what they say, you can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl. So true. I am always drawn back to the farm and country in the art I see on here. I would live on a farm again today if I could be close enough to a city...
