Ellen, this is simply STUNNING! Ahh, but this image will always exist in your mind, and in your beautiful work. Hope it is framed and hanging on one of your walls. Do the cards come in multiples?

Artist's Description

If I had come along 5 or 10 minutes later this image would not exist. It is one of my favorite images I have taken because of its uniqueness. Look closely..this is a puddle of water following a morning rain. The trees in the image are reflections from a hillside and the leaves floating on top of the puddle appear to be leaves on the reflected tree. You can see blades of grass coming up through the puddle. When I came by this same spot later, the puddle had mostly been absorbed into the ground and the sun was in a different position. The image no longer existed.

About Ellen Tully

Ellen Tully

I grew up in Central Kansas helping out on my grandfather's farm. I love the way the wheat waves in the wind on a summer day. I began my love affair with wildflowers as a young girl. I could wander for hours gathering wildflowers, meandering along streams and gathering currants for pie or jelly. When I became tired I would sit under or climb up into a big shade tree and let my mind wander and dream big dreams. I moved to Kansas City to join my aunt after high school. You know what they say, you can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl. So true. I am always drawn back to the farm and country in the art I see on here. I would live on a farm again today if I could be close enough to a city...
