Artist's Description

Having quite a collection of images taken of various historic sites in the Kansas City area, I decided to try my hand at combining them all into a unique collage. Having downloaded texture brushes and grunge brushes to play with, I began placing images one by one until I had what I was happy with, overlapping with layers of textures. My base photograph was one looking down main street with Union Station to the left, an image I took through the window of the passageway over Main Street at Union Station. I had to remove some artifact from the glass but it turned out to be an excellent view of downtown Kansas City. This took several hours of work to accomplish but I am pleased overall with the outcome.

I would live on a farm again today if I could be close enough to a city...
